Three more sides are just one win away from the finals of the inaugural 2022 British Clubs Mixed Team Championships.
Lancashire’s Fleetwood GC overcame the tough resistance of Scarborough South Cliff GC in their last 16 clash, edging the tie 3-2 to set up a quarter final match against the winners of Perthside’s Muthill GC and Northumberland’s Stocksfield GC.
Wales’ Mond Valley GC also moved into the last eight after defeating Herefordshire’s Leominster GC 4-1 and will now visit Hampshire’s Stoneham GC in their south west regional final.
And in the Midlands, Lincolnshire’s Belton Woods GC beat Nottinghamshire’s Beeston Fields GC 3.5-1.5 to earn a quarter final match against either Hill Valley GC or Beedles Lake GC.
In the south east region, Enfield GC will play the winners of Bedfordshire’s GC and Girton GC, who are playing this Saturday.
All four regional winners will qualify for the finals at the beautiful Algarve from November 7-10.
