The draw for the inaugural 2022 National Inter-Clubs Mixed Team Knockout Championships will be made this weekend and emailed out to all clubs on Monday April 4.
The only event of its kind, and postponed from 2021, games will be published on our draw page and updated during the season.
Your support in this our first season is invaluable and hugely appreciated. With more than 120 clubs taking part, we have already surpassed expectations for 2022 with many more clubs telling us they will join next year.
The more sides that enter, the more it encourages others to do likewise, just as the Daily Mail and Annodata Men’s and Ladies Championships proved in their early days.
The competition is open to all clubs in England, Scotland and Wales and will be played on a knockout basis between April and October with the final four clubs qualifying for the national finals in Portugal in November and the chance to be crowned national champions.
Teams will consist of five pairs of men and women with a maximum handicap index of 24 for men and 36 for women. Players with higher handicaps can be selected but must play off a maximum of 24 or 36 on the day.
To reach the finals, clubs will never have to play outside their region – North, Midlands, South East & South West – and will only have to win four or five games to qualify.
Clubs can enter by emailing info@mixedgolfevents.com or by using the contact form on this website.
