The draw for this year’s 2025 British Clubs Mixed Golf Championships is now live and has thrown up a series of intriguing clashes.
Inaugural winners Stoneham GC face a first round home tie against Southampton neighbours Boundary Lakes GC while 2023 champions Brickendon Grange GC will travel to county rivals and first time entrants West Herts GC.
2024 winners Worlebury GC have a bye in round one and will meet the winners of Exminster GC A and Stover GC.
A series of new teams will join a host of returning sides in the fourth year of Britain’s only national mixed club competition.
And they are chomping at the bit to get started with debutants Selsey GC travelling to Goodwood GC and first-timers Worthing GC hosting Littlehampton GC A.
Two other Sussex debutants Cooden Beach GC and Horam Park GC have been drawn away against Royal Eastbourne GC and Littlehampton GC B respectively.
Elsewhere in the south east region, Essex debutants Langdon Hills GC will travel to Abridge GC while first-timers Essex Gold & Country GC will host Rayleigh GC.
In the south west, Hampshire’s Hockley GC face South Winchester GC B, Berkshire Sunningdale Heath GC host Royal Ascot GC B while Welsh first-timers Tenby GC entertain Leominster GC B.
In the Midlands, Suffolk’s Stowmarket GC have been drawn against Links GC while further north, Oldham GC will play the winners of Burnley GC and Pleasington GC and Tadcaster GC will host previous finalists Scarborough South Cliff GC.
All four regional winners will battle it out at the national finals at Telford Golf Resort at the end of September.
